These first three iterations were mainly brainstorming text placement and color schemes. This assignment was supposed to either be solely black and white, or only to have one extra color. I chose red because its energy and anger often matches protests.
REVISED ITERATION |
Trying to add more energy and texture into this design, I experimented with smashing apart the text into small, broken pieces, and tilting the large text at an angle.
FINAL ITERATION |
Finally, I combined the two ideas from the revised iteration to create this interesting and dynamic protest poster.
